DESERT HILLS COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC
The Advanced Music Program (AMP) at DHCSM is an audition-based program designed for kids and teens ages 7-18 who show extraordinary dedication to artistic and musical excellence. Led by DHCSM Artistic Directors Vitaly Serebriakov and Svetlana Obregon Saenz, the AMP program brings world-class, comprehensive music instruction in the European tradition to students in the greater Phoenix area.

In addition, the program provides AMP students with multiple performance opportunities and organizes music competitions for all students from the state of Arizona.
Admission to the AMP program is a three-step process:
A limited number of need-based and merit-based scholarships are available. These scholarships range from 25% to 50% of the full tuition cost.
The following mandatory classes are held on Saturdays:
11:00-11:50: Advanced Music Class (ages 7-13)
11:00-11:50: Advanced Music Theory (ages 14-18)
Other classes scheduled throughout the week based on student and instructor availability include:
Private Instruction (twice a week)
